Three hand-drawn coloured lines - saffron yellow, parrot green and French blue decorate the unglazed bottom half of the mug, while the inside and top sections of the mug have a resistant, glossy, transparent glaze.

The distinctive round handle, another thoughtful design feature, is comfortable to hold and joins the base of the cup with a small button detail.
